As Istanbul Gedik University, we participated in the Turkish Indoor Athletics Championships, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation in Bursa on February 14–15. Thanks to the outstanding performance, discipline, and determination demonstrated by our athletes, our university achieved significant results.

Our individual achievements at the championship are as follows:

400 meters: Turkish Champion

200 meters: 3rd place in Turkey

Elanur Ersoy

800 meters: 3rd in Turkey

High Jump: 3rd in Turkey

Narin Demir

3000 meters: 2nd in Turkey

1500 meters: 3rd in Turkey

Arda Çelik

Shot Put: 3rd in Turkey

Muhammed Enes Yalçın

1500 meters: 3rd in Turkey

Ömer Hamza Yalçın

800 meters: Turkish Champion

Additionally

Our Women’s 4×200-meter Relay Team, consisting of Beyzanur Çelikhası, Ezgi Kaya, Narin Demir, and Elanur Ersoy, achieved a significant success by finishing 2nd in Turkey.

As a result of all these achievements, our university finished 3rd in the Women’s Overall Points Ranking at the University Indoor Turkey Championship.
